Perlon is an electronic music record label founded in Frankfurt in 1997, and now based in Berlin. Run by Zip and Markus Nikolai, it´s a minimal Techno and Microhouse label known for its tight vocals and crispy beats. Producers such as Ricardo Villalobos, Baby Ford, Stefan Goldmann, Luciano, Matt John, Akufen and Pantytec work for Perlon. It´s a mainly vinyl label, as none of their releases are officially available online or in any digital format.

Sammy Dee

Born in Berlin Sammy Dee (aka Mario Radecki) is one half of the House project Pantytec, which released its debut album “Pony Slaystation” in 2002, on Perlon, and toured around the world twice. Thanks to his DJ skills he´s been given residencies at famous clubs like E-Werk, Robert Johnson, Ostgut or Tresor.

Thomas Melchior/Melchior Productions Ltd, first made a name for himself in the beginning of the 90’s, releasing on Aphex Twins’ Rephlex label as part of the electronica duo Vulva, and later as Yoni on Move D’s Source Records. Protégée of Techno legend Baby Ford, Melchior and Ford release as Sunpeople, Soul Capsule, part of the Ifach Collective and M-Core, initially only on Trelik and Ifach and later on his own label Aspect Music. As Melchior Productions, Thomas became one of the pillars of the minimal House movement on Perlon, Playhouse, a:rpia:r, Smallville, Cadenza, Lomidhigh Organic, among others. Former resident DJ at Ibiza’s DC10 Circoloco parties, member of Villalobos’ Narod Niki, Melchior´s work also includes collaborations with Luciano, Ricardo Villalobos, Bruno Pronsato, Zip, Fumiya Tanaka and Daniel Bell. He still remains one of the underground’s true visionaries.
